Founder & CEO, Zoku

Scott is an entrepreneur, scientist, and educator. He has founded or co-founded multiple companies and product lines. IN 1997, He founded Useractive Media while in graduate school at the tail end of his Ph.D. work in Mathematical Physics. Useractive utilized a Tool Integrated Learning Environment (TILE), which integrated custom built Learning Management with web based Programming Development Environments (first of it's kind). 

Useractive was acquired by O'Reilly Media in 2005. Scott designed and orchestrated the building of the O'Reilly School of Technology ( http://oreillyschool.com ) and Making Math ( http://makingmath.com ) based on his ideas.   The O'Reilly School of Technology is about to be accredited as an institution of higher learning, and Making Math is build on a proprietary custom built web version of Mathematica Software also designed by Scott. Scott left O'Reilly Media in July of 2013 to pursue Zoku, inc. another big idea whose time has come.

Scott is also a Start-up coach at Founders Space one of the leading accelerators in Silicon Valley.
